As a member of the retail community I really hate to say anything negative about anyone but after the experience I had on the boardwalk I just can’t leave a good review.

I had sat down at the tables there to eat a subway before going for my bus home. I had maybe eaten half when I was approached by an Indian employee of the coffee kiosk who demanded I buy something from him to be allowed to sit down.

Normally I would be very understanding of this rule and oblige but it wasn’t busy AT ALL. This employee got right in my face and was very intimidating to the point I just threw my food away and left. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from someone who is meant to be a member of the retail/hospitality industry.

I’d avoid this place. There are many more options with good food and drink where employees will treat you with respect.

The liffey boardwalk is a great place to chill out and enjoy a cookie and a drink. Me an my friend are going there years and just love it. The service is great and is so well looked after just a great day out. When the weather is good it's fabulous relaxing an chatting with a friend there.

Parts of the boardwalk are pleasant and it's seen some investment following the new bridge and eventual connection of the luas lines.

Sadly it's overrun with the alcoholics and heroin addicts - Dublin is full of them... Don't give them a euro for the bus however many times they ask!!

During our walks up and down the Liffey, we walked along the Boardwalk towards O’Connell Street. Nice to observe the River Liffey from this perspective. However, do prefer the bridges like the Samuel Beckett for views.

Walking near the Liffey is a nice way to spend a day in Dublin. Yet, I do warn you to be careful to pickpockets, because Dublin is getting worse and worse in terms of petty crimes. Overall, it is a suggested experience, though.

As a Dubliner I am saddened to see what the City has become. Be very careful as the Boardwalk attracts undesirables in their droves. The area in general is poorly policed and I would avoid it in the evenings and early hours. People with drug issues, beggars and homeless make me uncomfortable even in the daytime and fights are common place as is petty theft and phone snatching.

Dangerous... Avoid the boardwalks in Dublin. Maybe a good spot in the past but in 2021 are simply a no go.

This runs for a short way along the north bank of the Liffey from O'Connell bridge. Nice to watch the river. Places to sit if not occupied by a rough sleeper!

This is a nice walk along the river. It is fairly short and located on the north side of the river. Great place to hang out and watch the river.
