We were picked up at Dublin Airport by Alan Bradley from Touristy to head to Glendalough and Wicklow Mountains National Park. Rather than driving to many attractions, we wished to go directly to Glendalough, to be in the nature. Alan excellently adjusted the day’s schedule and route accordingly. He is indeed a great driver and tour guide. While driving very comfortably and safely, he told us a lot about the history of Ireland and the beautiful scenery we passed through on our way to Glendalough. A fantastic day, with practically no rain, although not all of us made it longer than first the steep climb along the fairytale-like waterfall Poulanass and then up more than 600 steps to the ridge of the Spinc. The views up there were breath-taking. Just a perfect day, with a smooth ride back to Dublin and the hotel, thanks to Alan.

We had never been to Dublin before, so when Alan asked what we wanted to do, we told him it was his choice. I'm so glad we did that! Alan knows so much and truly loves this city. He got us into a couple of very interesting tours, and he knew so much of the background. After we saw quite a lot of the city, he took us up the coast so we could see some castles and we had the most delightful lunch in an Irish fishing village. Alan went out of his way to make sure we had a great day. We will keep his card and ask for him when we come again to Ireland, which will no doubt do.

Great ride with Alan Bradley. We were picked up at our hotel and had an awesome day. Alan's knowledge of Ireland was impressive as he not only showed us the country's natural beauty, but he shared so much history about all the places we visited. He provided a fun filled day and made sure we were enjoying what we were doing. He was very flexible in the itinerary and did not waste our valuable time. He directed us at many stops to ensure the hidden secrets were seen. I'd recommend Alan, as well as, this excursion.

What a great day! Alan was an amazing host to us. He was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. We couldn’t have asked for anything different. He helped to make our trip to Ireland complete.

Alan Bradley was the taxi driver that took me everywhere and he definitely was my angel because I wound't have known what to do or I wound't have gotten to the places I needed to get to without him and his kindness. He literally took me everywhere. I asked to drive me back to the hotel after going to the Guinness storehouse and on the way I told him I wanted to see the Dublin Castle really quick and he actually parked and told me to get out of the car because he wanted me to take pictures in front of the castle, garden, etc. He became my photographer too, he was so nice to take my pictures for me. He did more than what his job was, I seriously think he would've been the best tour guide ever. After taking me to my hotel and to pick my friend, we were heading to the airport and when I asked him if it's okay to stop by a souvenir store since I wanted to buy some souvenir, he took me to a store where I got a free souvenir item after spending 25 Euros which is not bad. Then after all that, we finally headed to the airport. As he was driving he was still giving me some of Ireland's historical places. I think he was the best taxi driver/tour guide I could've ever asked for.

Always like a trip to Ireland and this was the best yet. We spoke to someone who had only been with taxi tours the previous day. We tried them out and the chap ( Alan ) was brilliant. We saw so much and never knew how much we had missed on other trips. Will defiantly be going back for another trip and using their service.

My 15 year old son and I bumped in to Alan one night in Dublin at an Irish show. After enjoying a chat and a few songs and pint Alan told me about Taxi Tours Ireland.
I decided to give a full day tour of Dublin a go the next day, and sure enough Alan was there bright and early to pick us up and gave us the experience of a lifetime.
We had asked for a specific tour, based on Irish history and he didn't let us down on his knowledge of "his" city.
The pride and passion he has for showing Dublin is infectious.
I cannot list all the places we saw, there were so many, but we did not miss one thing we wanted to see.
All with Alan's running commentary, local knowledge and humor. A real genuine bloke.
My next visit to Dublin will come with one certainty.

just back from a visit to Dublin and was truly looked after by taxi tours Alan and the guy's really go out there way to make your tour special with great stories that we won't find in the guild books and no trip to far and all planned by them you just say where you like to visit. All on line and all on time. If your visiting Ireland. Do it with Taxi Tours Ireland.

We just returned from Ireland and had a great experience with Global Taxis. We were a party of 4 and needed transportation to and from airport, hotels, train station and ferry terminal. I booked the entire itinerary with Global Taxis via the internet. Everything worked according to plan. All drivers were where we needed them to be when we needed them. I cannot say enough for scheduling ground transportation ahead of time. No waiting in lines for taxis. When we arrived home, all the charges were on our credit card and were as promised in our arrangements - no surprises or hidden charges.

We loved this tour because it was totally customizable! We made suggestions as to where we thought we wanted to go and Alan made it happen, along with his advice and suggestions. We really wanted to see the coast of Ireland so he took us south and saw some beautiful countryside that wasn't too far of a drive. The only thing we'd recommend is that you speak up if there is something you want (or don't) want to do, to be sure he does it. And be sure to get your questions answered, Alan is a wealth of information about Ireland and its history, myths and legends, but he will share it ALL with you if you don't guide him with your interests! Great day!!

I notice it states on the tours and tickets by Touristy page that the prices are per adult. Is this correct?

The prices are per vehicle that can carry 1-4 passengers. This is a mistake on the Tripadvisor page. It states the price is per adult but it is in fact the total price based on 1-4 adults sharing the tour. Thank you.
