We stopped by for post-concert drinks, and found somewhere that kept the atmosphere going. Busy without being daft on a Saturday night, great selection of music, good drinks and nice crowd. Just near the Smithfield Luas stop.
This used to be one of the best pubs around with great music, great staff and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately things have gone steadily downhill over the years and it’s nowhere near what it was in it's glory days.
Loved this place, and the fellas who are barmen there. Could not have been happier. Excellent vibe, super tasty beer brewed just for them, and some classic posters on the wall. A nice step away from the trads.
We found this place on our way into the city centre, and returned a couple of times afterwards. We had a super friendly welcome from the guy behind the bar who was absolutely sound. We mentioned that we were in town for my other halfs...More
A 3 star would have been harsh but a 4 is generous.
