We have just returned to Glasgow after a wonderful time in Dublin to finish off all the things on our to do list, that we did not cover during our visit at Easter. One of the highlights of this visit has to be the Michael Collins walking tour given by Ruairí O'Donnell. Initially disappointed it was not Lorcan as were... More

Rory was an excellent guide for this walk. He is knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor, and was conscientious about potential issues with the street noise, traffic, etc. We were a large group and he made sure to engage with all of us. I was delighted.

A very interesting and informative tour. The guide, Rory, relayed a very serious subject with humour. A wealth of information was given to us in a way that was engaging. I would recommend this tour to anyone. If we return to Dublin, we will definitely go on the Michael Collins tour.

This is a great walking tour, Lorcan was a great guide with plenty of little nuggets of information, he really brought history to life while bringing us from landmark to landmark, sometimes stopping to remind us of another anecdote on the way. This tour is perfect if you don't know anything about 1916, and if you do! Lorcan also does... More

Owen was our tour guide and he was terrific. He explained the history and politics of the Rebellion in an interesting and entertaining way. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the past come to life. Don't miss this tour.

A superb introduction to the Irish independence movement. Liam is a very articulate, engaged and engaging guide with encyclopaedic knowledge of the 1916 Easter Uprising and the men, women and events that gave birth to it. Don't miss it when in Dublin. Brilliant!

I can't recommend this highly enough. The tour is a serious, fascinating, entertaining experience that takes you to heart of the 1916 Easter Rising via Dublin landmarks that were integral to the rebellion. It starts with an introduction to modern Irish history before moving on to the events of 1916, examining the rising from both sides as well as looking... More

spent a few hours with tour guide Owen doing tour yesterday.met in the International bar ,after a short introduction talk, set off around Dublin.Owen was very informative and knew his stuff on Irish history.a lot of walking so wear appropriate footwear, luckily it was sunny and warm, but bring waterproofs as Dublin isn't known for its sunny weather.
