Great course and excellent value for money. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Range is good and they have just upgraded the mats.

Great venue to go for Pitch and Putt
Apr 2017 • Friends
As a group of 10 we went for a quick Pitch and Putt session. This course is perfect for 2-3 hours round of having great fun with clubs and golf balls. Fairway is well kept and staff is very supportive. It's inexpensive as well. Don't need to bring anything, all is provided. if larger group you may want to book in advance.

Good value for money
Aug 2016
This is a good quality golf course, that is totally laid back. If you pay them, what they ask, you are welcome to play with whatever you are wearing and whatever clubs you are carrying. It is not fancy, but it offers a fair challenge, and is definitely good value for money. Check online for promotions..

A steady performer

Elmgreen is a municipal golf course just off the junction of the M3 and M50 motorways in west Dublin. The welcome is always good and despite heavy traffic, the course is always well maintained, It tends to be open when other parkland courses succumb to frost or rain. The reason is good drainage, helped by being on the side of a hill. This, however, results in 5 holes that involve a climb, so a buggy is recommended for older, or less mobile golfers. Booking is essential.

Ok condition, poor service
Dec 2014 • Friends
We booked into Elm Green online two days in advance and paid for our round at the club. Ended up having to get a refund after playing two holes of golf in one hour due to a delay on course with society groups. Verbally abused by other players on course after we were instructed by one society to play through.

The course itself is fine but it's pretty much a free for all for and I wouldn't recommend it for single digit handicappers. Currently under renovation as well.

Felt most unwelcome and will never return
Jul 2014 • Family
We along with a lot of other parents went to the "wee wonders " qualifier with our 8 year old son yesterday. We stayed over the previous night in a local hotel in order for him to be their for his early tee time. We would never have been down in time as we live just outside Belfast. The course is really beautiful however it is so let down by the "Pro ". He was the most unwelcoming person we have ever encountered on our many trips to golf tournaments which have been all over Ireland , Scotland and America. Almost every parent we met had the same feeling as we had which was we were most unwelcome. There wasn't even a medal for the winners. Oh how different this experience was to the previous "wee wonders" qualifier held in Sligo golf course. Jim and Maggie Robinson were great hosts and had a great barbeque for all the kids after the competition however sadly it wasn't held their this year. Lets hope this experience doesn't put our young talented golfers off although we will never be back at Elmgreen golf club again and we hope the qualifier is never held their again.

Not bad but nothing spectacular
Most holes were fairly straight forward, par 4's a bit short but course was in good condition in fairness
