The group was larger than I expected - maybe 25ish people - but the guide managed it fine. It was informative, but we begged off after 2 hours and 20 minutes as it was longer than we expected. (Although looking at the website it says 2 hours+). I think we were cold and lacked the attention span at the end.... More

I went with a group of ladies from a Ladies Club and we were shown around the Grafton Street, College Green and O'Connell Street areas. Our guide must have been a history student - he certainly knew his stuff. He brought us into a very grand room in the Bank of Ireland, College Greeen (which used to be the House... More

We were fortunate to have a mild and dry day. Our guide was excellent - good fun and well informed. We found it very interesting and also entertaining - excellent introduction to the history of Dublin.

We decided to do a tour with these guys because it sounded more interesting than the usual walking tours and we were not disappointed. There were six of us traveling together and we decided on doing a private tour. It was so much more interesting then any of the other walking tours we have ever been on when we have... More

The tour guide was very nice however I was overall disappointed with the tour. The tour started of on a good note but once you leave Trinity College it's very hard to hear the guide. I feel like there should be time given to take photographs because if you stop then there's a chance you can lose the group (which... More

If you love history- this is the one you must do! Our guide Brian was excellent - a historian and graduate of Trinity College. 5 or 6 stops however the highlight was his balanced and detailed knowledge of the development of Dublin and Ireland. This included the relationship with Britain as well as the more recent civil war and Northern... More

We had a great tour with Donal in the summer. He was excellent because his historical knowledge enabled him to put places into context, explaining their political background and cultural significance. The best tour guide I have ever experienced! Congratulations Donal!

I've been doing a lot of walking tours on recent trips. They're a great way to get a feeling for a city in a short amount of time. This particular tour featured Trinity College, the Irish House of Parliament, Temple Bar, City Hall, Dublin Castle, Cork Hill and Christ Church. Our guide, Donal, was extremely knowledgeable and very funny. He... More

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the places we walked by from the Trinity College, the opening and later closing of the first parliament, the Easter Rising, and various other places in the city. Even though he had a lot of information to share (speaking fast) it was easy to follow and his engaging way of talking Arby's... More
