Alex Should Sell a CD of this Tour!

We did the tour based on a Rick Steves recommendation, and were enthralled from the start to the finish. Irish history is a rich subjet on it's own, but our guide, Alex, made it... read more

We did the tour based on a Rick Steves recommendation, and were enthralled from the start to the finish. Irish history is a rich subjet on it's own, but our guide, Alex, made it extraordinary. The tour ran over two hours (far beyond my normal ten minute attention span), but I was absorbed for the whole time. Probably not for... More

Excellent, entertaining and informative walking tour of the main historic spots of central Dublin. Our guide "Donal" presented a spirited, detailed but very entertaining potted history of Dublin from the Vikings to the Easter Rising. Two interesting hours of easy walking with a lot of standing. We had a beautiful day but it would be challenging in the wet! €12... More

Our tour guide Donal was brilliant! He was funny, informative, and very knowledgeable. It was a great way to see the city and also learn about the history of Dublin while standing where these events actually took place. They took us from Trinity college to the old houses of parliament through temple bar and ended at Christ Church Cathedral. I... More

Our tour guide Brian, really knew his stuff. We saw everything you want to see around Dublin, Trinity, Temple Bar, Christ Church cathedral and more, and he was a font of information. He really helped us understand the Irish experience from their struggles for independence, to the potato famine (which was eye-opening), to the Easter rising. Couldn't recommend it more.... More

The guides have their Masters degrees in History, they are passionate about history an its a wonderful experience to walk around and obtain so much knowledge about... More

Saw this tour in Rick Steves guide so decided to give it a try. It was our first afternoon and very glad we took the tour. Lasted about 3 hours. The guide was very informative and gave a great introduction to Irish history. The guide was a post grad student and showed us many parts of Dublin. Great we to... More

Donal Fallon was our tour guide. Donal brought life and history to this tour. He is passionate and very well versed. We started at Trinity College, visited the Bank of Ireland aka the old House of Lords, Temple Bar, City Hall, Dublin Castle and ended at ChristChurch Cathedral. Donal offered wonderful stories and insight at each stop. We have been... More

Richie did a fantastic job of explaining the history and culture of Dublin through the centuries. I would definitely recommend Richie's tour to anyone who visits Dublin in the future!
