Tried booking this tour for 2 solid days but online booking service was down.. We r on social media and their website ( there was no message on their website and not everybody uses social media!!! )she explained that the 1pm slot was gone and would we like to book the 2.30pm slot instead? I explained that I had 2 very disappointed children in the back of the car on route to Dublin and she hung up on me. My wife rang back 1 minute later to book the 2.30pm slot which she had explained was available and she said it was sold out. ( 1 minute later!!).
Very, very disappointed children once again!!
I fully understand that with covid 19 restrictions, they want to operate an online booking system but come on Croke Park, if you want to implement these online bookings etc, do it correctly....

Garth Brooks Concert - Electric atmosphere and Garth is a super entertainer. However left feeling a bit disappointed, we were in the Upper Hogan Stand and the sound quality was awful. We couldn’t make out what he was saying due to how muddled the sound was. Even some of the songs left us puzzled unless they were the big numbers as we just could not make out the words.
Also the big screens weren’t in sync with the sound as we could see his mouth moving differently to what we were hearing.
Also very little security visible, nobody nearby to ask for help when the couple in front of us spent the whole concert vaping heavily.

Garth Brooks Concert - this was our first concert with our two teenage sons. We are regular attendees to Croke Park (big GAA family). We love Croke Park on match days. As a family we did enjoy the City centre lights and nice food. As for the concert, it was an electric atmosphere and Garth is a super entertainer. However left feeling a bit disappointed, we were in the Davitt Stand and like a previous contributor said the sound quality was awful. We couldn’t make out what he was saying due to how muddled the sound. We could not make out the words. The big screens weren’t in sync with the sound as we could see his mouth moving differently to what we were hearing. 3 women stood up in front of us and danced all night, more luck to them, but they blocked my wife and two young boys entire view of the stage and screen. They also spilt beer all all over the ground where we were seated. One young person as security visible, but ineffective, nobody nearby to ask for help. I asked if they could sit as we couldn’t see anything, but they refused and told us to stand if we couldn’t see. So thirty minutes in we left and found seats higher up in the disabled section.
Great atmosphere with the lighting etc but with no view, poor sound and people loaded with alcohol we won’t be back there for a concert again. Match days yes, concerts no.

We couldn’t leave Dublin without watching a Gaelic Football game at Croke Park, luckily the season was kicking of the weekend we were there Dublin vs Kildare. Bought the tickets online through ticketmaster. Seats were in Hogan lower stand. Would suggest rows AA back for best view and to be out of any rain that may come.

I attended a concert at Croke Park with my husband and friends. The stewards were very helpful and extremely friendly, the Garda too. The stadium was spotlessly clean and everything was easily accessible , minimal queues. A thoroughly enjoyable experience

Attended Garth Brooks Concert on Friday 17th. From start to finish we had a fantastic experience. The staff were so customer friendly throughout. Service was super and the venue was spotless. Well done Croke Park. Proud of you 👍

Bruce Springsteen concert 19th May 2024. Urine from the urinals was flowing out out on the walkways and was unavoidable when coming in and out of the main pitch. At the end of the show there was hundreds of empty cans and plastic cups left on the floor and it was extremely slippy. A gentleman I did not know was walking towards me and fell and took me down with him. He injured his ankle and I just came away with a few bruises. Really disappointed with my experience of the venue.

We went to Croke Park on Sunday 31st August 2014. We had been here before a few years ago and really enjoyed the experience but wondered if the same experiences could be replicated. Well, we were extremely surprised as this visit was the most memorable visit ever. There seemed to be a lot of other patrons in Green and Gold singing and clapping while the patrons in blue were very quiet and humble. They seemed to be having a bad day. The green and gold singers where excellent and well backed up by the bag pipe player Christy. The welcome was excellent, seats perfect, our starter was a tasty surprise (minor match). Compliments to the comis Chef Declan Bonner. Finally the Main Course arrived and it was worth waiting for. Jim the Chef had cooked the Dublin Beef Perfectly. The green and golf knives cut through it like it was melted butter. Then to top it all off we had the Colm Anthony Dessert in front of the Hill which was the sweetest thing I ever tasted. We have decided to return on the 21st of September as they have advertised that there will be some Kerry Lamb on the Menu for both Starter.and Main. Adios.

Wonderful tour by ?? Who dropped an interesting fact on sandwiches and their nutritional importance for the discerning sportsman. A fact that's been so well received we thought of writing a poem in its honour:

Sandwiches

Two slices of bread
And a world of possibilities in-between
Give me half a chance
And I'll make the finest sandwich
You've ever seen

There are no rules
For the feast
That you can make
With flour and yeast
And a filling of your choice
Anything goes
You can build it way up
Way up to your nose

Pack it with meat
And vegetables too
Until you have a roast dinner sandwich
Or even a stew
You could warm it
Or toast it
Or eat it all raw
I feel sorry for you
If you haven't had
A sandwich before

For the sandwich is the food
I like the most
You would have to be a fool
Not to love the loaf.

I went to Ed Sheeran here, and sat in the lower Cusack stand- I highly recommend seating there for anyone booking a concert etc there- it's straight in the red route, and in your seat in just a few minutes- higher tiers are more difficult to get to.
