Played 8 Irish courses over 10 days of the east coast 3 we played - Old Portmarnock, European and this one - I enjoyed this the most. Amazing setting on an island close to city. Course great to play on - first 3 are ok - but then it really gets going - tight fairways and tricky links green complexes... More

A beautiful links course. Very well-maintained. Staff was very accommodating and in the pro shop and in the bar. Nice selection of clothing. We rented clubs and a golf buggy. It was a fantastic course and a great experience.

Our first day in Ireland and we checked into the Royal Dublin. The staff greeted us and ensured our bags were taken to the room where the amenities were well explained. The room was larger than normal with great views and peaceful. Dining options were plentiful and reasonably priced, we only wished we had more time to stay. Would definitely... More

Party of 12, pre booked, warm welcome both inside the club house and the pro shop. Good bar service before we ventured out, with the Guinness inspiring us onto the 1st. Excellent course and it's one of our favourites when we come over to play once a year, not easy, but attractive to all levels of golfer. It's totally understandable... More

Royal Dublin is a fabulous golf course. It's in a great location and is definitely worth a visit. We dined here last week and there was a great atmosphere in the clubhouse. The waitresses were so friendly and we had a super meal.

A fun links course to play - while windy and wild, not super long. It is right on the Dublin harbor, so has a partially industrial view, but there are some nice trees, bushes and lots of sea birds, as well as some nice dunes. The fescue is not too intimidating, though if your tee ball goes astray you can... More

This course on the eastern side of Ireland sits on an island and is a delight to play. Additionally, you can rent a buggy to ride in for a little less than taking a caddie, although they are available. After walking several days the buggy was a Godsend to an old man. The golf shop is nice though small, and... More

Royal Dublin GC qualifies as one of the top courses to be played around Dublin - a tough challenge, fast greens, tough bunkers ... one of the classic links courses to be played around the area. Staff is very nice, the clubhouse and the restaurant overseeing the finishing hole, a sharp dogleg with out of bounds ... amazing !

Royal Dublin hosted the Irish Open on a number of occasions and for good reason , it is a tough challenge and a super links course. Located on the Bull island only a couple of miles form Dublin CIty Centre , the course has a long history. A typical 9 out and 9 in links it plays differently every day... More
