It was one of our best travel experiences. Simon made us fell thousand times welcome :) He took us to Irish pub where we were chatting about much more than Dublin.

How was this free?! 'City of a Thousand Welcomes' was the warmest reception we got in Dublin, which is a high bar if you've ever been here. We had already been charmed by the staff at our BnB and at the Guinness Storehouse, so to...More

Has anyone checked out the City of a Thousand Welcomes? They have a pretty cool website. They introduce tourists to Dubliners for a chat. You get a voucher for a free pint or a cuppa and get to have a real Dubliner tell you about their city. Sounds like a good idea to me. . . .

Dublin trip and update to the Liberties (3 Replies)

Found the neighborhood pub and also a few others and had a grand time. I can't say enough about this great city, except I have to return. Thank you to all...More
