My father and I did the secret tastings tour and really enjoyed our visit. Our guide was quite passionate about whisky and did a great job walking us through the barrel process. It was professionally done and we thought the tour was worth the money (even though we didn’t care for all of the whiskys on offer). Just be careful when arriving at the facility - we were hassled by a drug addict outside of the complex who would not leave us alone, and our taxi driver also warned us about the neighborhood.

Me & my partner had planned to visit the Jameson distillery before we arrived in Dublin and were really looking forward to it - and we had a great afternoon!

Very informative tour guide, great to hear about the history of the Jameson family and how everything began and progressed throughout the years. Throughout the tour we got to learn about how Jameson is produced, the process and of course some fantastic whiskey tasting at the end of the tour. It was something we both really enjoyed doing as a couple and would 100% recommend on your first visit to Dublin. Included in the price was a delicious drink (choice of 3 various drinks) at the grog bar - I chose the whiskey, ginger beer & lime and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great venue and very nice decor, lots to look at whilst you are in the venue and lots of character. The only thing I would say is that the gift shop is rather on the expensive side which did put us off buying anything, but thoroughly enjoyed our couple of hours there.

So the weather may have played a part in our enjoyment.

Picture the scene:
We have prebooked a valentines weekend away in Dublin and we end up in the middle of storm Dennis. We didn't prebookany tours as we just wanted to see where the weekend would lead.

After being battered by stormes we decided to find the jameson Distillery on foot, we arrived to a small court yard that had a family of 4 having some photos taken outside of the doors, it's eemed very dark, very wet and very quiet. The family snappers a picture of us and left. At this point of the weekend I was pretty down beat, the weather was ruining out child free Weekend.

As we opened the doors it was like stepping into an advert, the place was busy, happy, cheerful, the decor was beautiful, enormous jameson bottle chandilliers hung from the ceiling with golden wood bars and large tables of people enjoying a whisky, chatting and just getting to know each other.

We went on a tasting tour that we has to wait 15mins to attend (very reasonable for not pre booking) but that's was OK as we enjoyed a little drink with the rest of the people enjoying what was on offer at the Distillery.

Worst experience ever!!!! Don’t go here! They charged tickets to our group of 25 people, and then literaly kicked us out because we asked our tour guide just to put at least a smile when talking to us. Totally unexplainable, none of us used a single impolite word. Chery on top was that they refused to give us the money back for the tickets. I assume this happened because we are Slavic???? Shame on you Jameson Distillery Bow St.

We did a cocktail making class just this evening with Ciarán. Not only was the whiskey lovely (seriously, even my sister drank whiskey for the first time in her life), Ciarán made the experience better! Funny, affable, chatty, not afraid to take the mickey out of everyone, it was a genuinely extremely funny but educational experience. Ciarán deserves an enormous raise! 😊

Jameson's Irish Whiskey is triple distilled, that's why it's so smooth. You can taste Jameson's whiskey at the Old Distillery in Dublin. Irish whiskey is gaining popularity, it does not have the peaty, burnt taste of Scotch, which some drinkers find objectionable.Jameson's whiskey is now distilled in County Cork, in the southeast of the island.

Jameson distillery is a really cool, open plan building, with a large bar area in the wooden craft style. Obviously, with ongoing covid restrictions, it can't be enjoyed in the same way, but it is a great space.

We visited last autumn to do a cocktail making class, which at the time was half price. That was incredible value for what we got for it. We learned to make whiskey sours, old fashioneds and a punch in a small and safe group.

Our instructor Kieran was a good sport and really knowledgeable, and just made the whole thing great fun. I'd love to go back in the future and try a different tour experience, or just enjoy the bar.

We did the cocktail making class here a few weeks ago. I must say it was absolutely brilliant! Our instructor was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. We started with a tasting of a shot or Jameson, then we made an old fashioned and a raspberry whiskey sour which was by far the nicest whiskey cocktail I’ve ever tasted. Our instructor did a demonstration of how to make a hot whiskey punch which we got to enjoy after the class downstairs in the lounge area. Highly recommend this experience to anyone. We did it as a couple but it’s would also be great for a group.

Amazing experience at the Jameson distillery. We booked the cocktail class and when we arrived, decided to do the whiskey tasting from the barrel as well. The cocktail class was so much fun and taught us a lot and the tasting was such a unique and enjoyable experience - would highly recommend both to everyone! Special thanks to Lucy and Erica who made our experience here so enjoyable, they were great craic and had so much knowledge about Jameson. Will definitely return!

You can't go to Dublin and not visit the Jameson distillery. We had no reservations or plans to explore the distillery itself so just went straight to the bar (through the gift shop and after buying a nice warm jacket of couse). My wife had one of their cocktails while I tried the "family tasting" menu. You can't go wrong with ordering pretty much anything on their menu.

We both enjoyed our drinks, walked around the place to take a few pics and left with his smiles on our face. Would absolutely recommend to visit if you're in the area.
