First night in Dublin and we found this gem of a bar. A couple of local guys playing guitars and singing was exactly what we were looking for in a bar. A great crowd for a Tuesday evening/night. We thought we would stop in to listen to a couple of tunes but ended up staying late into the night. Their... More

What makes a stew traditionally Irish? Is it the ingredients? I'm not sure. I would suggest that it is simply the fact that it is a stew made in Ireland. What I know for certain is that whatever the barman/chef puts in his makes for a terrific, hearty bowl, and a cracking good lunch. Funnily enough, we chose this place... More

I had only one night to spend in Dublin. My plan was to grab one pint at about 5 or 6(or 12) different places and do a pub crawl. I bellied up for one and ended up closing the place. It had a great crowd for a Monday and John behind the bar deserves a shout for the job he... More

Visited with a group of mates on a stag do and spent a few hours watching the Germany vs Italy game and we all really enjoyed the pub, good service from the bar staff and they were very quick to serve customers unlike most bars we were in. Good price aswell considering we were in the centre of Dublin

Lively bar, very friendly staff and excellent Guinness. We went here last 14 years ago and found it again on this trip to Dublin! Still the same décor - very traditional- and it was as good as we remembered!

We saw that the International has comedy every night of the week and love comedy shows in the States so thought we'd give it a try. We were on improv nights and the comedians were very funny and played well to a diverse... More

Grabbed a pint while we waited for the comedy show. Chatted with folks outside and had a great time.
