The Irish Architectural archive consists of many parts. A permanent exhibition in the front room, a changing exhibition in the back room (currently pattern books for architects) and on the right there is a reading room with a huge range of photographs for every county in Ireland. There is an amazing collection of books new and old. there is a basement full of interesting architectural drawings which can be seen by ordering them. most of the services are free- but they do appreciate substantial gratuities.

A really fine looking building on the east side of Merrion Square in Georgian Dublin, we briefly popped in to take a look at the exhibition of the above man who had a lot to do with the rebuilding of Dublin after the easter rising in particular the GPO on O'Connell street. Worth a visit, would be more interesting I suppose if you were a bit more into architecture, unlike myself, thank you for letting me take a look anyway :)
