Situated on the waterfront, this must have been an impressive sight and a busy building in the days when ships ruled the world, but today there is no real sign of what it's about. We looked for an entrance but couldnt find anything, and we suspect that it is used as offices. Still, an impressive sight for visitors.

An Old iconic building serving as an important landmark at Dublin. This is located by the Connolly train station to Dublin Docks by the River Liffey. The building is lit in lights in the dark.

Seen it on 3rd, 4th and 5th April 2019. Building with a green dome. Neoclassical design by James Gandon. The original structure was built in the 18th century, however, it caught fire in 1921 and was rebuilt in 1928. It was restored once more and completed in the early 1990s. One of the landmarks in Dublin. It now houses the Department of Environment (from Google search) . But I walked past it, the sign read the Department of Cultural, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (I attached my photo). Before the building (the side that is fronting Liffey River), there are a few bus stops of which one is for Dublin Coach, an express coach between Dublin and Belfast.
