One of the best collections of animals I have ever seen, shows the history of animals in Ireland and around the world, free entry, can make you a little sad but makes you appreciate how precious our animal kingdom is. Located next to the other...More

Decided to come here as we had enjoyed going to the one in London previously. The museum is quite packed in with displays, there is literally something everywhere you look. I do think it would benefit from being in a bigger environment, it just seemed...More

Although the Natural History Museum has a very good collection the presentation of its collection hasn't changed in the last 100 years. It would urgently need a new outfit and make it more interesting for its visitors.

If in Dublin you have an hour or two to spare then this is a great place to visit and absolutely free. My grandson of 9 enjoyed it thoroughly and even I found it interesting.

We are still thinking about this museum. Some hidden treasures, as well as all the displays. The historic feel of the building is very comforting. It was uncrowded on a weekday morning. There are two floors open for viewing. We spent several hours here. So...More

It's a fairly atypical Natural History museum - there's lots of taxidermied animals, but no exhibitions or information plaques as such. I would say about an hour and certainly no more than two.
