Review of: Experience Gaelic Games in Dublin
Our time with Experience Gaelic Games was great. It started with a text from Georgina letting us know we were the only two signed up for the day. She said it was unusual but they could accommodate us or we could switch to another day. We decided to stay with our original booking. Paul met us outside and began the day. He explained the GAA clubs and their role in the community and country. He spoke about the games and how popular they are even as an amateur sports. We then started with handball to get us warmed up. Paul gave us instructions, went through a few drills then played a game, which turned into three games. Next was hurling. We followed the same routine of instruction, drills and games. He made mini competitions with the drills once he noticed how competitive we were with each other. Last up was Gaelic football. Again the same routine with instruction, drills, and games. We had a blast! At the end Paul airdropped us pictures which we hadn't realized he was taking because we were having so much fun. I would recommend this to everyone!…

Review of: Experience Gaelic Games in Dublin
My friend and I were visiting Dublin and thought that this sounded like a lot of fun. We made a last minute decision to book a time slot that was going to start in and hour and a half. We showed up and no one was there. I got in touch with a woman named Georgina, who was dumbfounded and extremely apologetic about the mistake. Apparently, there was a technical glitch with the booking system because it's not supposed to let you book anything within 12 hours ahead of the scheduled time. She offered me a generous discount for the inconvenience, and offered that I come back later in the day to join a group that was already scheduled in advance. We didn't think we would be able to make it back because we were relying on public transportation and with it being a little far from central Dublin, it didn't make much sense. But on our way back to our hotel, I got an email from a man named Cormac apologizing again for the inconvenience and he offered to come pick us up from wherever we were to make it back for the next event! We took him up on the offer and he was such a nice guy. When we finished playing the games, he offered to drive us home too! The experience itself was a lot of fun. The games are a combination of many different "traditional" sports, such as soccer, American football, volleyball, lacrosse, rugby, raquetball, and basketball. It was hard to remember all of the rules and I didn't end up being any good at any of the games, but it was still fun immersing yourself in such an important part of Irish culture! I highly recommend Experience Gaelic Games!…

Sure, you can check off everything in the guidebook, or you can have way more fun figuring out how to get to a place on the flip side of the map and play games. These games aren't just past times. These are more serious than any Superbowl and mean more than any college rivalry. So you net a day of laughter and culture. My only regret is I didn't get any pictures because we were always moving, making me think i would lose or break my phone.…

Review of: Experience Gaelic Games in Dublin
Great experience and top notch service. Facilities were very clean and everyone was very welcoming. Equipment and training were great. There were areas where people could change if necessary and they provided water in between the games. I like that they didn’t try to nickel-and-dime you with extras, just a great presentation of the games and ample time to practice and play. We played with another group for a total of about 15 people. I would recommend double checking your gps to make sure you’re going to the club location listed on the website. There was plenty of parking available.…
