Just returned from a weekend in Dublin. We found this pub by chance and would definitely recommend. Friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and full of character. Loved the live music which was playing and had a more 'traditional' feel to some of the bars right in the city centre.

Good location not far from the Green and Grafton Strret. Full of character and characters - will certainly go back when in Dublin.

Charmingly grotty with a great smoking area. Might be a little dreary for some but if you want a decent pint of Guinness in a traditional bar with a good "pubby" atmosphere - here's the place. Avoid the rude older barman..!

This is where the band The Dubliners hung out. Great history. We watched some of the Euros football outside. Area can be covered in case of rain. You can also stay here BNB. Music most nights. This is the real deal and the whole package.

Visited on a Saturday night in June. The pub was crowded, but still very enjoyable. Love how the Dublin bars serve gin and tonics with tonic on the side so you can add to your individual preference!

All ages. All drinking Guinness. Live, traditional Irish music nightly from a group of pick up musicians. Highly recommend if you have a free night in Dublin.
