Well what can i say. After hearing that our party organiser had said that here was expecting us (as 6 emails had been sent) and after us giving our order in advance I was expecting a lovely chicken toastie with a small side salad garnish. Well i could not believe my eyes when it appeared on the table. Processed chicken... More

A very busy typically Irish pub, ideal to sit inside or out people watching! There is a really nice outside covered area to sit out if it is soon warm inside. While visiting other pub visitors spontaneously started singing with others joining in, a really genuine 'Irish' experience and worth a visit.

Old traditional pub pleasant atmosphere although some rooms quite snug. Just do not order any Toasties at the bar, expected real cheese not one cheese slice in the middle of burnt toast. One of our party asked for more cheese and was given 2 cheese slices on a plate. After complaining we were given the option of not paying the... More

This is definetely my favourite pub in Dublin: here you can find a warm atmosphere, you can enjoy a good pint of Guinness, listening to good traditional music, talk to locals as well.

Just returned from a weekend in Dublin. We found this pub by chance and would definitely recommend. Friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and full of character. Loved the live music which was playing and had a more 'traditional' feel to some of the bars right in the city centre.

Good location not far from the Green and Grafton Strret. Full of character and characters - will certainly go back when in Dublin.

Charmingly grotty with a great smoking area. Might be a little dreary for some but if you want a decent pint of Guinness in a traditional bar with a good "pubby" atmosphere - here's the place. Avoid the rude older barman..!
