After reading books by Frank Delaney and Edward Rutherford I realized that what may be my last visit to Ireland must be to include the Collins Day Tour -Wicklow Mounttains, Glendalough (Glen-DA-LOCK) and Kilkenny. The beauty of rugged Wicklow, the story and monastery remains of...More
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our time with Patrick. There were two times we remained with him rather than proceed independently, and are so glad we continued with him. His comments added immensely to our experience during these walking tours. His...More
This was a great experience. We went to see the places where ps.I love you and Braveheart were filmed and we ended up in a town called Kilkenny where we could eat and take a walk through the castle.

Brian was the guide for my tour and he was great. I learned so much and he answered all my questions. I opted out of doing the walking tour with him around Kilkenny to explore on my own, which I typically prefer, but I feel...More

I have booked tickets for my husband and I to come to Cologne as we have always wanted to visit and at the same time we plan on seeing Phil Collins at the Lanxess Arena!! Advice please on whether to book and secure tickets via seatwave/getmein/viagogo reselling sites online or to wait till we are in Cologne and see if there are touts near the arena? Thanks in advance!

Chances are that there will be tickets sold outside the arena by some shady people, but why take the chance, especially if you travel especially for the concert to Cologne. My advice, buy tickets asap

Pubs in Dublin featuring authentic Irish Music (6 Replies)
We are coming to Ireland in September for the first time and would like to know of any pubs which have authentic Irish Music (especially where the locals go). Have 4 days in Dublin so any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance Ed Collins

Viator Tours X Collins Tours (3 Replies)
Hi, folks. Don't get fooled by Viator Tour adds, this agency sucks! I joined a tour of them to Mohair Cliffs two weeks ago, and it was a mess! My wife and I fell like cattle in an unequipped bus that didn' t absolutely live up to our expectations, as it was teeming with people. Tour guide was basic and drove us to a lunch tourist trap on our way back to Dublin. Collins Tour, on the other hand, was outstanding! We had an unforgettable day tour to Glendalough and Kilkenny, led by an...More
