It was a lobely experience to share with friends. Jonathan and everyone on the tour were really nice and friendly. Coming back to Dublin center, jonathan sung us some irish songs, which made our day even greater. The irish history and legends kept us interested the whole tour and as we expected the landscapes were breath taking.

We went to the Game of Thrones studios, which although we took it on the official website the driver was from Irish day tours. Very easy to find and they came looking for us on schedule and we left with the same punctuality. Colin was our driver, a very nice man who was charming as well as professional. The trip was perfect and also added information about Ireland, their language and also put typical songs. Gracias Colin, you're the best driver!

The tour started in Dublin and ended in Dublin. We traveled to Belfast and Derry then on to the West Coast and finished in Dublin. Our driver D Healy was amazing getting us to places quickly and safely. Offered great suggestions to make the tour meet our changing needs. The Donal was wealth of knowledge and kept us engaged and entertained. All and all a great experience.

My husband and I booked the Wicklow & Glendalough Tour for 6 June. The departure time was supposed to be 8:30 am, but by 9 am, no one from Irish Day Tours had showed. I called their office, but no one answered the phone. Their office was a short walk from the meeting point, so my husband and I walked there to find out if the tour was still on. It turns out the guide had tested positive for Covid that morning, so there was no guide. They were still deciding whether or not to try and find a new guide or cancel the trip. One of their office workers, Susie, volunteered to act as the guide, even though she had never given the tour. They were trying to contact their boss for instructions, so we went back to the pick up point and told the others waiting for the tour what was going on. We heard nothing after waiting another 30 minutes, so started walking back to the office to ask for a refund when one of their employees met us and said Susie would give the tour. Meanwhile, the bus driver (Daniel) got tired of waiting and left with the bus. So we had to wait until just after 10 am until they were able to get the bus to come back and start the tour.
The tour itself was okay. Unfortunately, Susie really didn’t know much about the places we we were visiting and the driver took a few wrong turns. The first stop was the working sheep farm where we got an amazing sheepdog demonstration; highlight of the trip. The farmer, Michael, was surprised to see us, as we were so late. Next stop was Hollywood, where we were supposed to get a walk through the valley with the guide. Instead, we got dropped off at the cafe for a short coffee break. Then we were supposed to stop in Laragh Village, but we skipped that., then stopped for about 10 minutes at a scenic point in the Wicklow Mountains. The last stop was at Glendalough, where we got 2 hours to explore the ruins and walk the trails. We arrived back in Dublin before 6 pm, after leaving for the tour almost 1 1/2 hours late, so we definitely didn’t get the full tour time.
To top it off, I left a bag with a shirt I had purchased for my grandson in the overhead bin of the bus, which I discovered about 5 minutes after we got off. We ran back to the bus, but it had already left. We immediately went to the tour office to report this and spoke to Martin, but were told the driver would not be back in Dublin until June 8. They said they would try and contact Daniel the driver and I could check back on the 8th. I got a call this morning (8 June), that they could not locate my bag. I don’t believe anyone on our tour took it and it didn’t disappear, so I at least hope a bus or Irish Day Tours employee is enjoying my grandson’s shirt.
Due to the disorganization of this trip, the employee’s complete failure to inform the passengers as to the trip delay, and their indifference to helping me get back the item I left on the bus, I do not recommend Irish Day Tours. Many other companies offer this tour; I suggest you choose one of them.

My spouse, nephew and I took the Wicklow day tour today and absolutely loved it. Our guide, Keith, was very knowledgeable about Irish history and made the tour both educational and fun. He was extremely witty and interacted well with each person on the tour.
The tour offered the perfect number of stops and I feel we had adequate time at each location. Of all the trips/tours we've done, this is by far the best I've ever been on. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We went to The Giants Causeway and other areas. Had a great time. Driver and guide Jonathan was really great. Visited Game of Thrones locations. Jonathan sang a couple of songs, was really informative, and a great narrator. It never got boring.

From his welcome all through the trip Jonathan was/is an amazing guide! The trip to all these Castles was definitely worth it! Each one has their own story to tell and each their own beauty. Would recommend this tour there is plenty of time at each site to take pictures, stroll the grounds and soak up the history and beauty.

I went on 3 day trip excursions from Dublin with Irish Day Tours during my 7-day stay. I was hesitant about booking with a big-bus company but read great reviews and was not disappointed. The buses are premium comfort. Plenty of stops for breaks. Well planned tours and great drivers and tour guides. Adrian took us to Blarney Castle and he was funny, kind and considerate. He was also a wealth of knowledge on Irish history. We had gone on a history tour the day before and had not learned as much. Fann took us to Mohr Cliffs and he was also great at making sure we got the most out of our trip. I can’t remember the name of the guide for our trip to Giants Causeway but he was also very professional. On this one we arrived at meeting point 0630 as planned but didn’t see email that trip to Connemara had been cancelled. We were allowed to go with group going to Giants Causeway so it was no problem and we so relieved. Absolutely wonderful time. Don’t hesitate to book with Irish Day Tours.

I can only recommend this company! We booked Irish day Tours for a week and had a great driver! Barry Hand was very flexible and fulfilled all our wishes. He was always on time and although he was just booked as a driver he told us a lot about the country and could give us great recommendations. The bus was very well equipped and we had much of space. I would always book this company again! Thanks for a great week.

Hi I am afraid none of our tours include castles and the Cliffs of Moher. Our Blarney castle tour visits three locations the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle and Cahir Castle. We have a choice of Cliffs of Moher tour, the premium tour includes Caherconnell fort a sheepdog demo and a boat cruise along the cliffs and a visit to the Cliffs from above. The other cliffs tour visits the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Galway city.
