Last week I met with a genealogist, Patrick Roycroft, at the IFHC in Dublin and am so glad I did. I’ve been researching my family roots for about 4 years and had run into some brickwalls with Irish records. Patrick was able to quickly review...More
I visited the Irish Family History Centre for one purpose - to track down information about my Irish family. In just one hour with Patrick Roycroft, a genealogy expert, I obtained more information on my grandfather's family than I had gathered in five years of...More

We spent an hour with Patrick, and benefited from his knowledge and skills in conducting family history research. Especially appreciated his genuine interest in our family’s history. Well worth the money.

We purchased the combo ticket to the museum and history centre for €22. This included a 15 minute consultation with a researcher, but because it was my husband and I we actually got 30 minutes with them. We also got there first thing in the morning a few minutes before they opened so we would not have a long wait. If you look on their website there are other research options for €40 or €75 which gives you 30 or 60 minutes but at a time you can reserve. Good luck with your research and go Packers!🏈😊
