Shouldn't leave Dublin without learning about Irish independence and the GPO is a definite place to do that. Our guide, Eilis was phenomenal in providing us with interesting and informative information leading up to the creation of the Irish free state.

The General Post Office is located on the cities main thoroughfare O Connell Street. The GPO was one of the locations that was part of the 1916 rising so alot of history attached to the building.

Very enjoyable and informative. I particularly liked the links to world history, especially the colonial map. The film show was good too.
