We took the waterbus round the bay on a beautiful day and managed to sit outside. It was an interesting trip, beautiful scenery and you see a seal colony but there is not much else apart from buildings behind trees that you can't see! Felt the 20€ pp was pricey for what it was. Beware if sitting outside you might... More

I took my three and a half year old son with me on this bus today. He absolutely loved it. The man sang kids songs as well as well known Irish songs. I agree the jokes are dated and a bit sexist but that's all part of the charm and no offence is meant. Very friendly staff. The jokes go... More

We went on a calm, warm, sunny day. The host provided facts, fun and brilliant singing. The highlight of the trip was seeing the mother and pup seals basking in the sun on a sand bank in the bay. Loved the whole trip.

The trip started with sexist jokes from a person who did not introduce himself. This should not be included as acceptable Irish humour packaged as "auld sod' variety and we (audience) were subjected to it like it or not. Innuendo like she did not get a hole in one are off key for this type of public event. Those days... More

Needs to markedly improve the booking system! We turned up mistakenly at 3.45pm for 4pm departure and were told boat was leaving at 5.30pm. When informed we were party of 10 the response was "cha-ching" and told to come back in an hour. Dutifully walked time kids around Town for an hour - Bank walk great for small kids incidentally.... OK so it was a nice day and the rain held off for the duration of the trip but whilst we'd expected appreciating the scenery and sighting the odd seal we hadn't expected your man on the keyboard with his singalong songs and awful jokes, what a hoot, don't miss it.

I took Donegal Bay Waterbus ride. It toll only 1 hour and 15 minutes. Fortunately for me, It didn't rain so I sat on the deck and enjoyed sunshine. The bay was beautiful and scenery was wonderful. There were sea lions that were having good time on the island! There was a live entertainment on the bus! He sang and... More

We set sail on the Donegal water bus as apart of a group and had an amazing time. With our host providing the jokes and interesting information regarding the local sites we had a great time. The bar staff and company were very friendly and happy to help you in anyway they could. It was raining on the day so... More

This was a 90 minute trip around the waterfront of Donegal. It was very educational to see where the folks escaping the Famine had to walk to get on the large sailing ships. There was also a seal colony that we passed! There was a live tour guide during the way out, and on the way back in, he provided... More
