Your classic Irish Pub...great music by a couple of older guys...one on the guitar and the other on the accordion! Good times.

My wife and I had the pleasure of stopping in Donegal Town this past week. Such a beautiful town (even with light rain!) and everyone we ran in to were so friendly. We were on a tour and our guide (Feargal) recommended a stop in The Reel Inn. We were not disappointed. I met several local people that I had... More

Great entertainment, Music Every single night and dancing at the weekend! They run tidy shop and the craic is always good. The best WiFi in town too which was an added bonus when trying to keep in contact with family further a field. I went here almost every night while I was on holiday, a strong recommendation for those who... More

This is the stereotypical Irish Pub! They had live music and cold beer. The crowd was into the music and some folks were dancing. We liked it so much, we went back the next night for more of the same.

Had a great night out in this bar. Go early if you want a seat as the bar isn't very big but it gets packed most nights.

Great little pub in Donegal Town. Popped in here on a Monday night in April and the place was hopping. Good music played by 4 gentlemen, including the owner of the pub who played the accordion. Bar attendant was friendly and welcoming. Get here early if you want a good seat for the music, which happens nightly.

I always love to visit the Reel Inn when up from the North- the musicians are generally excellent, though it has been getting increasingly touristy (thank you, Trip Advisor!) you still got a good feeling of an old Donegal bar. When we arrived outside this week and were confronted with a brand new pine front door in a different place,... More

This was hyped as the #1 spot in Donegal but it lacks a bit in atmosphere from the decor. The music was ok and it certainly attracts tourists. But it wasn't as great as it was made out to be.

We had an amazing time in "The Reel Inn" over the St Patrick's weekend. The music was "un reel" singers have never heard the like off. Bar staff so friendly and just the whole atmosphere was magnificant. Totally recommend everyone to visit the next time they are in Donegal Town. Thanks for the craic!!!!! Regards Pam Douglas

Great local talent and atmosphere. Can get hectically busy.... well worth going early and striking up a conversation with the ever friendly bar attendants... so proud of their heritage and with fascinating stories to tell. Must get there early to get a table or chair where the music will be happening. Gets packed out later, especially at weekends, and you... More
