Stopped in to listen to music after a hard day of traveling. We were quite tired and expected to have a drink and head out. The atmosphere was so congenial - both the musicians and the guests - we ended up staying until closing. While the music is traditional, they had lots of vocals in the set. They took took... More

My experience was singing with the musicians. The craic was mighty, me and my partner will be back soon.

I have been out many times in Donegal but never saw the gem that is The Reel Inn until my latest trip. Traditional Irish Music and a fabulously warm welcome. Only down side is the pub is very small and some revellers had to go elsewhere.

Great traditional music. They welcome other musicians to join them, take requests and create a really fun atmosphere.

The best traditional Irish music you will ever hear. It's an open mike most evenings So get into the back room early, the black stuff is the best to get your toes tapping.

Noisy, busy, great Irish music, get in early if you want a seat. There isn't a translator available either, so you just use the words Guinness and cheers! Proper Irish pub,... More

Good place to hear trad music. Get there a little early to grab a table or stool. We got there on a Thursday night at 9 and grabbed a stool by the bar. Music starts around 9:30. Fun night1

Great friendly irish pub with an eclectic arrange of carachters both young and old. Good pint and friendly staff, always a singsong going on.
