Lovely little pub with small outdoor area for the smokers / capers to sit and enjoy lots of character in this cute little pub. Lots of little snugs and cosy’s for winding away the evening. Worth checking out.

Really enjoyed my visit here during a short trip to Cork. The pub is located down an alleyway off the busy St Patrick's St, but easy enough to find. Dark interior with a really relaxing vibe. Friendly staff and a great selection of beers. Probably the best pub visited during my trip and I will definitely return if ever in Cork again.

We'd had this place recommended. Once we'd found it we went inside and took a seat. It is quite dark in here so watch your step when walking around. Staff are friendly and there is a decent selection of drinks here. A nice pub tucked away down an alley.

Right in the city centre, an old pub from 18th century. Great range of beers and super service. Lovely outdoor alley area and covers come over if it rains. If you were looking for the perfect Irish pub in Cork city centre with no Irish music then this is the one.

I came to this pub from Dublin because I had the beamish in Grogans and thought it was superb. This place is the homeland of Beamish - so I had to come to Cork. I was going to fair to all the stouts - so I had a Guinness Beamish and Murphy’s all at the same time. I have to say Alan the barman served up 3 superb pints and my new found friends at the bar educated me on each. Wow is all I can say - every pint was top class and Murphy’s really surprised me it went down like a velvet glove - it was definitely a photo finish - probably the best 3 pints I’ve had at the same time in one venue. To top it off who told me directions to this pub - the owner of Grogans who I met virtually outside! If that isn’t a sign I don’t know what is! Well done Alan.
