This bar is one of the oldest in cork and has kept its original charm. Lovely for a few evening drinks or even a romantic date (low lighting and candles) possibly my favourite bar in cork!

Finally I found this bar! Once i step inside I knew it is nothing like I have ever seen before. Such a warm and friendly place with a great selection of beers. I had my favourite Handsum IPA and was suggested to try some Irish...More

This pub has got real character to it. We visited The Oval Bar on a loud Saturday evening for a drink, and despite it being quite crowded and seating limited, the bar itself was quick to provide service and the traditional elements of the bar...More

Conveniently located in the city centre, yet just far enough off the main drag to maintain its character. Good traditional feel about the place and a tasty pint

Over 100 years old and still going strong and very little has changed to the interior. Previously a bar run by the brewery across the road - a real piece of Cork history.

Fantastic bar on South Main Street, just up from Bishop Lucey Park . It has a great buzz to it and oodles of atmosphere. It isn’t the biggest bar in the world , but every nook and cranny is used to provide seating abd Cosy...More

A very enjoyable and friendly little pub in the City center. We had a lovely pint here and it was a great place to chill and have a chat

This place is the perfect spot for a good pint and a catchup with friends. Very rare to have any music and if there is, its in the background, can sit by the fire on a cold winter evening and enjoy the company.

This pub was on my list of "must see spots" for our trip to Cork, and it did not disappoint. Beyond the fact it's visually amazing with all sorts of nooks and crannies to sit in, our bartender was super personable and we had a...More
