A night at The Laurels

There were 5 in our party last Saturday night. It was the night of the finals of the Laurels, always an exciting and busy night. There were 12 races and we bet on each race while... read more

I really don't understand the hype about this place. Mind you, I've never booked into the restaurant. Maybe it's different in there. My boyfriend and I just show up every couple of weekends because he loves it there. The seating arrangements are crap. There is virtually no seating for people who haven't booked into the restaurant. It's almost as though... More

There were 5 in our party last Saturday night. It was the night of the finals of the Laurels, always an exciting and busy night. There were 12 races and we bet on each race while only winning on one. So the track made money on us, but we had great fun picking the dogs on their names or such... More

Good night, staff very friendly. They come to your table to take your bet and bring you your winnings in the hospitality suite. Group rate of 11 euro for entry, a program and a meal (burger/chicken/fish with chips and a drink)

Was here recently on a hen. Wouldn't be my own choice for a hen party, but it was fine. Service was good, the food was really delicious. The betting was fun for the first few races, but got a bit boring after that.

Nice set food menu to choose from. Portions not very big but very tasty. Great atmosphere with live band. Betting from your seats as someone called round to take our bets. Big screen viewing. A good night out and plenty of crack.

We decide to check out Greyhound Stadium during our visit. It's nice, clean, and has a couple of good bars. They also have a restaurant and a fast food stand. We didn't realize we needed a reservation for the restaurant. We read that it's really good - and the bartender told us they apply your entrance fee to your tab... More

For a good old-fashioned night at the dogs try Curraheen Park; you won't regret it. Friday and Saturday are the best nights as Thursday can be a bit quiet with a shorter program of largely maidens.

Had a family celebration here in May for a sit down meal and night at the dog track. Have had nights out here before always been good but never had tried the restaurant. We opted out of the starters and went straight for the main course. Which I might add the food after ordering it came out faster to us... More
