I've no idea why I haven't been here before! A really beautiful park to stroll in and sit by the fountain or the river. Great playground and facilities for children. Café in the park is good with nice cakes and coffee and lunches. Cork public museum is all on site which is free and very interesting. Will definitely be back.

I was here recently at a family orientated summer event. The park was full of street performers, food stalls, fun stands, music. It's a fantastic amenity for locals and visitors alike. Even when there's nothing going on there, the park is aesthetically beautiful with gorgeous flower beds, a classic old pond full of fish and a playground. It's just a... More

Fitzgerald Park is an important asset for Cork people and visitors alike. The Natural Foods restaurant attached to the Museum provides sustenance for those walkers who have worked up an appetite. At present there is a photographic exhibition that is opened until 4 pm in the Lord Mayor's teahouse and the museum. Otherwise touch the (not suspended) suspended garden, and... More

We loved visiting this park. Our favorite part was the rose garden. The scent was very sweet blowing in the breeze. Lots of fun places to explore and a kid area for playing.

A beautiful park with fantastic scenery. Kids play area, cafe, seating areas. Kids play park was under water when I was last here, I'm unsure how it has been rectified since. All in all it's a park worth checking out if you're looking for a relaxing spot in Cork. Ideal for picnics!

Newly refurbished Fitz park is a place for a family on a sunny day to spend their afternoon. Plenty space for kids to run, sit and and have a picnic.
