Overview
More
University College Cork is one of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. It boasts a vibrant, modern campus with a student experience second to none in Ireland. A learning community where the student is at the heart of everything and the special relationship between student and lecturer is primary to our unique ethos. The campus is located a mere ten minutes walk from the heart of Cork city, a former European Capital of Culture. Cork is listed as a top ten location in the Lonely Planet guide which states it “has always had an unshakeable self-confidence and innate sense of pride”, a description which is equally applicable to the University itself

Historic buildings set amongst very old trees with nice views of the city. Most of the students were international was a variety of countries. A good location to get away from the traffic and tourist areas.

The beauty of Mardyke Walk and the history of the GAA on the Mardyke Sports Ground come together to explain Irish sporting games and Irish independence along the River Lee. The Fitzgibbon Cup may very well have a home here at UCC.

Recently went here with visitors. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the standing stones on display and the famine house that had recently been opened.

Hogwarts in disguise! Very picturesque campus next to the river and close to downtown. Don't miss their gallery.

The tour was just OK. It only covers the area in the perimeter of the quad. While this is interesting, I would have liked to see more geography.

Enough said. Beautiful peaceful place that you can chill and enjoy the sun on the grass. It's close to city centre and has a river and many entrances
