Not looking for anything in particular, we strolled around the Market. It has every sort of fresh food you could ever want to eat. Customers from Cork's multi culture population are well catered for. Loved the Fish Stand and the Olive Variety.

Every year I visit the English Market multiple times when I want to cook something special that requires ingredients not found at my local supermarket. Scallops, veal, specialty pastas and so much more! A cook's heaven!

Foodies will love this location. We are from Cleveland and have the Westside Market near the downtown area. The charm and selection of unusual items at the English Market surpass the market in Cleveland. The pastries are unique to our country and the tastes of the foods are reminiscent of flavors I had as a child 50 years ago. I... More

Come here hungry, and just sample everything you can! Take in all the sights of the contrasting food, from fresh firsh of every variety to fruit and veg (local and exotic) to all the pastries and sweet things one could dream of. The smells are so enjoyable, especially the fresh crispy breads, straight from the oven. The traders working at... More

Meat fish chocolate coffee - everything I need for a good time. Market was great and picturesque. Tight quarters for a stroller but worth the stop.

Our family enjoyed visiting the market - we split up to purchase the items each of us wanted for a picnic lunch, and then met up to eat at the park across the street. Enjoyed the wide variety and how fresh and clean everything seemed. Vendors were very friendly and helpful, prices were reasonable, and everyone had a customized lunch... More
