The best thing about our visit was knowing that we supported the local economy. The exhibition room could do with updating (my 10 year old was terrified by the shark exhibit so we had to leave quickly). Maybe best suited to school tours.

Really impressed with the cafe at the Burren centre- it’s spotless and the home cooked nature of it means it’s tasty and served with accommodation of all the different tastes in our small family group). We were cold after a wet walk and the homemade soup and toasties hit the spot perfectly.
The interpretation centre offers an accessible and not overwhelming insight into the Burren and it’s formation.

I ordered bacon and cabbage. It was disgusting. Soggy. Potatoes were stale. Bacon was very salty and definitely not home cured. Staff member was not friendly or helpful. She left me waiting 20 minutes before she spoke or made eye contact. She was too busy chatting to a friend. Service worst ever. Don't go especially if there is a woman with glasses there. You have been warned. Not even 1 out of 5

Oh, dear, what a shame!

The staff here are very friendly, but this place really does need bringing into the 21st century. There's an extremely dated walk-through exhibition in a poorly lit hall after you've sat and watched a very short video both for a price of 6 euros each!

We asked if there's anything else nearby worth visiting. Answer: a graveyard.

Not worth the money. Don't waste your time.

The Burren Centre is an educational and informative stop prior to a visit to The Burren. There are multiple boards and videos which explain The Burren and how it was formed.

Very well laid out. A lot of historical information displayed and presented in an interesting display. Very clearly presented. Some lovely items available in the shop at very reasonable prices.

We stopped here on our rainy day in the Burren area. The admission is reasonable and the film is quite informative about the area. The museum was OK. Ask whoever is manning the counter for some ideas about where to go in the park and what to see along the way. They had a helpful map they gave us. We combined this with a drive along some of the Wild Atlantic Way on our return to Doolin.
