It's a great place for wandering around and exploring the wooded area. Fabulous play park for the kids and the dog loves the adventure!

This is a great place to walk a dog. There is kilometers of paths to walk along. If the weather is poor be sure to bring boots as it can get muddy.

We live not far from here and look forward to many walks in the grounds. The house is gorgeous and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend anyone in the area visiting here, it is free and a real gem, especially if you want to see some nature but not too far off the beaten track.

We took the dog for a cold January walk through the grounds. Lots of paths and walks for us to explore and new smells too. Though, if your dog isn't good with others, then be sure to keep it on a small lead as you'll bump into many other dogs, especially at the weekend.

Well defined paths through the woods, excellent for walking the dog. The visitor centre is very interesting and there is a great wee cafe selling lovely freshly prepared snacks. The scones were still warm and the sandwiches were being made to order.
