Lovely green space right beside a beautiful sandy beach. Good beach cafe and playwark. Especially good family fun in early August during the annual visit by Zippos Circus

The Low Green is a large open space close to the beach on the coast at Ayr. A great place to enjoy a picnic and have a family day out.

I love returning to where I learned to walk many years ago. It is such a shame that dog owners feel they can let their dogs run wild and mess the grass.

My wife and I visited 'The Low Green' on a recent trip to Ayr. It is situated down at the seafront, just across the road from the Lang Scots Mile promenade walk, and the area covers roughly half a mile in length. Plenty of open...More
