Visited before xmas to see white christmas show. Lovely theatre and a great walk through the town to the theatre itself. Lovely staff, wee bar was great. Still have the ice cream vendor that pops in at half time with tubs of ice cream! That was great to see. All in all a brilliant night in a great venue.

Hi, hopefully you can make it to our Christmas production this year, 'Scrooge - The Musical', which is already booking tremendously well. Also, if you can, why not come to our current summer season whereby you can see up to 7 productions in just one week! See the website for details. Thank you for your review. More

Having booked Saver Seats for the performance of Carousel at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, we wondered what kind of seats we could look forward to, but we needn't have worried. They were four excellent seats together near the front of the auditorium. We had a fantastic view of the performance which was spellbinding. Lots of legroom delighted our party, which... More

I can't rate this place highly enough, and if you've never been you really are missing out. During the 'summer season' the cast members each take part in several of the 5 or 6 plays and one musical. It a repertoire theatre so you can see different shows each day, and on matinee days 2 shows. The standard is excellent,... More

Attended the evening performance of Carousel which we thought was absolutely marvellous. The production was excellent - acting, singing, costumes, stage set, orchestral music could not be faulted. A really enjoyable evening in a really wonderful setting!

After a days rain we decided to go to a show in the theatre. We were pleasantly surprised. I understand there are different shows on every night. We got to see Carousel. The show was excellent, really well produced, and we all enjoyed it. The theatre was very comfortable and airy. There are no bad seats in my opinion. You... More

Attended the matinee performance of Carousel last week. Really well done! Theatre seats were extremely comfortable with ample leg room. Cafe, restaurant and car park were all extremely busy before the performance, to a level that many a London or Edinburgh venue would envy!!! Someone on hand in car park to assist with finding a suitable spot to park. We... More

This visit to Pitlochry (my future retirement town, hopefully) was a coin toss between Thark and Carousel but unfortunately, I got it wrong. The cast were very good, the finale was good and very well done. It may have been hilarious in the 20's and many in the audience were laughing during the first act but my wife and I... More

Hi, thank you for your review. We are disappointed that the performance of Thark was not to your taste. As you say, the cast are very good and the performance has been wonderfully received with very healthy bookings and very good reviews via online media and audience feedback on the night. Hopefully the next two shows will be more suited... More

What a lovely change to have a facility that doesn't rip the tourist off. We bought quite a deal of stuff as a consequence. Apart from that the theatre complex is first class.
