Fergusson Gallery celebrates the life and work of the great pioneers of modern art and dance, John Duncan Fergusson and Margaret Morris. J D Fergusson is now best known as one of the celebrated Scottish Colourist painters, while Margaret Morris is recognised for her pioneering work in modern dance. She was also an inspired choreographer, artist, movement therapist and author. Housed under the one roof at The Fergusson Gallery, their collections tell a fascinating story.

A beautiful presented exhibition of Ferguson's work and his talented partner Margaret Morris. The two pleasant ladies who greet you on entering the interesting building, are both due a mention for their pleasantness.

Housed in a former water tower, this is an interesting gallery featuring the work of J D Fergusson. The paintings and the story they tell are fascinating and the way the gallery is et up makes the atmposphere quite intimate.

Went to look around as it was recommended to us having not heard of it before. Great little gallery with an interesting collection of art works. Well worth a look around and it has free entry.

We didn't know about the Fergusson Gallery until we visited Perth and were very pleasantly surprised to discover such a good selection of paintings of one of the Scottish colourists and his lifelong partner, Margaret Morris who was herself an accomplished painter. The building is an old waterworks and has a large iron dome. The paintings are well presented and... More

Good collection of artworks by Fergusson and a couple of animated works a couple of which appeared to have gone non-functional. But overal an excellent small gallery.l

We were walking along the banks of the river when we came across the Museum. I was pleasantly surprised with the contents of the museuam. I have never seen so many of J D Fergussons paintings in the one place. Well worth a visit. However Fergusson will not be for everyone's taste.

Definitely worth a visit. A good introduction to the work of John Duncan Fergusson and an interesting building in its own right.

This is a little gem of a place. The upstairs gallery was closed when we visited but we were given a warm welcome and encouraged to look around. Our children enjoyed colouring in in the back gallery while we looked around the sculptures and pictures on show. Worth a visit.
