We played on Friday 2nd October and had a brilliant day. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Allan who showed us around and got us all sorted. The club house is stunning, with a very traditional classic locker room. Lunch was excellent, I had the soup which was hearty and home made. Food prices were very reasonable. All staff we came into contact with were very friendly and welcoming. The course is in excellent condition especially given the time of year. Fantastic roll on the fairways and the greens were fast and true. All in all, a great day and we will definitely be back.

A warm welcome in Pro Shop and when dealing with club to book playing which was well organised with a lovely greeting from the Club Starter. Nice clubhouse and pleasant catering staff providing pre match catering. The courses "strong point" is the condition of its greens which were superb and the course overall is in very good condition which leads to an enjoyable round (we were also blessed with a glorious day ). The course is quite "distinct" in the fact it only has 2 par 3s and no par 5s (if played from Yellow Tees) with a number of the holes being what could be described as "quirky" (namely 3,4, and 5) due to the nature of them being shortish Par 4s with very distint 2 nd shots needing to be played. As with most links courses a few blind tee shots and an occasional 2nd shot over a marker guide make the course "interesting" rather than spectacular (IMO) although some of the course is somewhat plain and uninspiring although proving a good overall experience and a good days golf.

My partner and I visited for the first time today to try the driving range and get a bite to eat. We were seated in 5 minutes and ordered a spicy chicken toastie and highlander fries. The food was delicious and great quality! Thoroughly enjoyed it! We then got 100 balls and went to the range, no complaints! Had a great time. The bathrooms are also modern and clean, and I appreciate the luxury hand wash and moisturiser from The Scottish Fine Soaps Company, especially after going to many other places that had cheap hand soaps that dry out your hands. Overall it was a lovely day and we'll certainly be back.

We had just arrived and wanted to play a local course. We got more than we bargained for as the winds were up and the course was great. More than a few memorable/unique holes and a friendly membership. Well worth playing if you like golf.
