It has probably all been said before, but this is an amazing retail establishment that would not be out of place in any of the great capitals or famous retail centres, anywhere in the world.
The store is not huge, certainly not a ‘super centre’...More
I never seen a range of so many old whiskies in one place for sale. Pick a year, there is probably a bottle.
The old ones are almost all G&M labelled, but you find a lot of different special whiskies from different distilleries as well....More
Their whiskey tasting room is manned with a knowledgeable representative to tell you about batches, process, comparisons. Great fun with ability for you to compare all those whiskeys you've been tasting on the trip.

Me and my friend visited Gordon and MacPhail again, nice to see the new Coinnoisseurs Choice range has found its way.
We had the pleasure to taste some of them, because tasting is believing.
It wasn't my last visit, that's for sure!
Our group spent a happy hour(!) here exploring the tremendous range of whisky (other food and drink is available to buy)and sampling a few with personal attention from knowledgeable and keen staff. Inevitably a few purchases were made from this must-visit destination for whisky lovers...More

A well stocked whisky and other spirit shop which is overpriced. The deli is great and has a good selection most of the staff at the deli are polite and pleasant apart from one who seems very abrupt if you are ordering anything.
