What a fabulous experience and a great way to see some parts of Arran that you don't get to see by car. My only recommendation to those wanting to take part is that they approach the Auchrannie Resort (starting point of tour) along the Glencloy Road and not the Auchrannie Road, or else you'll end up in the wrong car park and possibly miss the tour, like we nearly did.

Fantastic tour with Alex. What a really nice man. Very friendly, good humour and knowledge beyond his years, he,ll like that one....The vehicle was amazing, a huge beast but oh so comfy, loved the off roading bit. We saw places you could not get to by any car, view to die for. Alex was so informative, gave us so much History of Arran the land and the surrounding sea, also history in the making. We did see Golden Eagles and many other birds, no deer but nature is not designed to please us, its the other way round. Thankyou Alex wish you and all the team well, made our holiday, we apologise for being bit late too.

This was the most amazing day. We’re so glad we found Mogabout. We would not have seen or learned about most of what we were able to experience thanks to Alex. Our ferry was a wee bit late getting in, so our already short time there was made shorter. Alex focused on what we were interested in and gave us the perfect start to our trip to Scotland. Highly recommend!

Great day out with Stuart seeing the sights of Arran. We joined the island tour of Arran which toured the whole of the island. Stuart was a great guide and passionate about showing us the island and looking for opportunities to see wildlife. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see the island in a short space of time and it’s given us ideas of things to do on the rest of our holiday. Thanks!

This experience absolutely made my holiday to Arran. Alex was an amazing guide with an eclectic range of subject areas to discuss from archaeology to marine conservation, horticulture to history - it was fantastic. I went on the forest safari and was nervous as I was on my own but he got us all chatting and enthusiastic about the beautiful sights we were seeing. The unimog is comfortable and a brew and biscuit was a welcome stop in the tour to appreciate the beautiful sights. I've already recommended this to all my family and will be back next year with family.
