Nice compact theater good sound system comfortable seating, one aspect I didn't like was allowing drink Into the seating area with no facility at the seats for placing your drink. Then when people get up to dance with drinks in hand the inevitable happens, drink being spilled onto people.

Get yourself to the Beacon Panto. It is fantastic, the Ugly Sisters were brill I think it was their best performance ever.
After this horrible year the panto was a great tonic I haven't laughed so much, the whole cast were brill. For a wee theatre, small stage and small cast they did the most professional performance I've seen.
The adlibs had me doubled up laughing, loved it, they weren't a bit bothered openly talking about it.
Girls I loved your costumes best ever someone has a great imagination.

The Beacon café, owing to present COVID restrictions, is only open Thursday to Saturday, and with a coffee and cake menu. It does have great views of the river Clyde, and (here) a side serving of the paddle steamer Waverley a few feet away.

As a family we visited the panto at the Beacon to see Jack and the Beanstalk. The show was really funny. Well worth a visit.
The Beacon is a lovely theatre, easily accessible.

My husband and I live locally and took a leisurely walk along the waterfront, deciding to head for lunch at The Beacon. We were so disappointed to find they no longer appear to do lunches. The only thing on offer was an honesty box for coffee or tea. There was no one around to ask what was happening, if the restaurant was closed permanently or if it only affected lunch. A notice on the entrance would have been nice. Poor show! Management are missing out on the opportunity to make the most of one of the best views in the whole of Inverclyde.

Was pleasantly surprised by this venue after travelling down from Glasgow. All staff were very friendly and courteous, the building is modern with nice clean facilities and good parking. The Theatre area was the biggest surprise, clean, modern, airy with comfy seats and good leg room. Not too big either which gives it a nice feel. Worth the journey, would return.

What a lovely Arts centre. Comfy seats.Nice and warm. Bar staff especially Kieran were fantastic and very reasonable prices. Also Janey Godley was amazing. Funniest comedian I've saw in long time Will definitely be back.
