OK for a start

We had visited distilleries before. The tour was delivering the information but lacked a personal touch and passion.

In many ways different from other distillery experiences but well worth the visit. Hector McDram was an entertaining introduction and the distillery itself provided another perspective of whisky distilling in Scotland. Loved seeing the stills from below! Guide gave a great tour, tailored to our background, followed by an excellent tasting! Unfortunately didn't have time to sample the cafe.

Having driven past this distillery loads of times, we finally made a point of doing a tour here. There are a lot of very mixed reviews here about the distillery, but I think that each tour is something that you should experience without prejudice and on it's own merits. We started the tour with the inimitable Hector McDram, telling us... More

Friendly and welcoming. We missed the tour times unfortunately but visited the shop. A staff member was really helpful, taking us through some of the whiskeys. Found a surprisingly lovely blended whiskey.

We had Gregor as our tour guide. He was very informative, knew so much about the history of the distillery, and was able to answer all the questions the group threw at him. The tour lasted an hour, finished off with some whisky sampling. I would highly recommend this tour.

A mildly informative tour was preceded by a cute video about the origins of whisky. It was impressive to look behind the distillery to the source of its water, Ben Nevis. The tour was followed by a brief tasting. No frills but enjoyable.

Initially you think this is a resonably priced distillery tour - at a fiver seems like a bargain to while away an hour...but the tour was very short. Video was broken, the guide vaguely answered questions from the other 'tourists'. Then at the end of the tour we were given a very small taste of a blended whisky. (I felt... More

The distillery is a bit out of town but clearly within walking distance of town. Call and make a reservation for the tour you want. The do a nicely done informative tour with a tasting at the end.

Thank Brad B
