We visited the Ben Nevis Distillery on a rainy day during our holiday in Fort William. It was a great way to spend some time. There was an introductory film to start and then the we were taken around by a guide who was very informative and fun. The tour took just under an hour and we ended in the... More

Welcome movie with a character called Hector McDram, followed by a boring and uninspired tour, nothing special. Like the whisky.

Enjoyed our visit to the distillery. The tour was informative about the process of making the whiskey but was hoping to hear more about the whiskey and its flavours . Good for a rainy afternoon.

It was unfortunate, but I was quite surprised at the low-quality of this tour. It began with a laughable 15-minute introduction to the distillery featuring an actor playing as a ridiculous scottish god/giant by the last name of "McDram", which appeared to have been made in the 80's. Although somewhat funny due to its age and approach to the subject,... More

Had a short wait. .but then saw a film on Ben Nevis history .. usually I am bored to death with these "informative films" but this one was done right. Lots of humor and really interesting. After short film our small group was given the tour. A young guy was a tour guide and really gave us alot if good... More

On arrival, fair size car park at the front of the building. Arrived just in time for the tour which cost £5.00 each. The price of admission was returned with two vouchers, each worth £5 for use at the end of the tour should you wish to buy a bottle/s of something.. we did 😉. First shown through to a... More

Young guide knew her stuff and made the tour interesting. Need to be fairly active as it is up and down stairs both inside and outside. Staff very welcoming

This was about our third distillery tour of this visit, and we had a pretty good group. Frequent tour times and very knowledgable guides The opening movie was a bit childish, but it did explain things well. But on the tour it seemed a bit rushed, and we received one tasting and it was clear we should have purchased something.

Got there first thing (10 am) so had a private tour with Tom who actually works in the distillery. Great knowledge, neat tour and views of Ben Nevis. He added a lot of local knowledge which was interesting.
