Have used West Coast Mountain Guides before and after another excellent climbing day out, would happily use them again. Great communication leading upto the day and the guide Kenny chose an excellent climb for the conditions.

Myself and two friends undertook a 5 day winter mountaineering course with Ken. With a few years of summer hiking and climbing experience between us (and a little winter experience) we were looking to cross these skills over into winter conditions. Ken led us through 5 action packed days where we were able to cover a huge range of skills... More

We spent a day with Ken on ledge route, his knowledge of the environment and area is superb.. With it being my partners first experience of mountaineering and exposure. Ken was patient and very understanding! Tbh he was outstanding and made a potentially tricky day absolutely brilliant... If I could give 10 stars I would!! Thanks Ken

I went out with Ken for some 1:1 guiding to take advantage of the early winter conditions and get my first couple of winter routes under the belt. Ken was really responsive when planning the trip and gave honest advice on the current conditions and the best time to travel up to Fort William to maximise chances of getting some... More

Ken from West Coast Mountain Guides managed to expertly guide us along the Forcan Ridge on an amazing day with stunning surrounds. Three of us in the group and a mixed range of ability; Ken was able to cater for all. Would have been much more challenging had the weather been poor...but we were lucky to get the last great... I had 2 days on the Skye Cuillin munros on the weekend 22/23 October 2016. I tried to organise the trip to suit a favourable weather window at short notice and the guys couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable to make this happen for me. My guides knowledge of the ridge and the views where also first class as... More

An excellent day out introducing my daughter Emily to the delights of exposure on a classic Ben Nevis route. Having Steve there to take care of everything meant I could just relax and enjoy the views with the other member of our trio Calum. Professional in every way from start to finish, accomodating last minute plan changes for the weather... More

My wife, Hazel and I (on our honeymoon) had a fantastic day being guided by Scott on the Cuillin ridge on Skye. Scott gave us the flexibility to decide on what we wanted to do (if weather conditions permitted - which they did) and we headed for the In-Pinn alongside two other Munros on the ridge, completing Sgurr Dearg, Sgurr... What a day.The weather was typical skye on the cullin. Thick fog, rain and wind in July. My guide Steve is a true expert. I really struggled on the first pitch up the pin,my guide did his job and got me up and down in a calm and controlled manner. It was very greasy and once again Steve seemed to take... More
