Benn Nevis what a buzz, my second time up the Benn and it didn't disappoint. True after around two thousand feet you was walking through cloud and couldn't see much but it doesn't take from the sheer exhilaration of the climb upto the summit, just one of those things that you must do.

Is an excellent place to visit, visitor centre is nice and provided with great advise (need really good shoes to climb the mountain). A must for family - you can climb for as long as you want and then return.

Completed this for charity this past bank holiday. The first 1/4 I found extremely difficult and also found this part the worst coming down. After the first 1/4 the ground was so much easier to walk on. When I was coming down I fell twice on that last 1/4 due to the rocks being wet. This was a new challenge... More

On a clear day the views are amazing, took my wife and I 4 hours up including regular breaks and about 3 hours down starting from visitor centre car park and ending in the Ben Nevis inn for a well earned drink.

I was a bit nervous about going up Ben Nevis with my two children. At the visitors centre I asked the man behind the counter about how easy it was to follow the path. His answer: "It should be obvious. Until you get to the top third that is". Not very reassuring. Luckily there were enough people going up for... More

Unless you are going skying or trekking for 7h, it is not worth visiting from too close. Just take a picture from the Visitors Centre and that's it.

I climbed Ben Nevis in August 2015 with a group of 10. We walked up the mountain path, previously known as the tourist path, starting at the Ben Nevis inn where we were staying. I do a bit of walking but hadn't previously walked any of the big mountains in the UK so was unsure whether I was up to... More

Great to get to the summit of the highest mountain in the UK. Just there in the off chance, working in Fort William for a week!

We climbed Ben Nevis at the first attempt! In my view you need to be in good health to climb this mountain. You will need plenty of warm clothing, waterproofs, good quality mountain boots, food and drink. We set off about 7.30 am and it was a warm and sunny day. However about 200-300m from the summit and it got... More

It is the first time we climbed up on Ben Nevis and although the weather was not in our favour, we really enjoyed it. It kept raining the whole time and the clouds were low so we were not able to see anything. Above aprox. 1000m alt the wind was very strong and the rain drops felt like a whip... More
