Cycling back yo our boat on the canal from Oban this ferry was a welcome sight. The crossing is short an d extremely good value. The staff could not have been more helpful. More frequent crossings might be welcomed by tourists but may be difficult to justify

This is a great way to get to the Ardgour Peninsula, albeit the only way really without a car. I used to cross to the start of the Cape Wrath Trail. It was excellent value for money at £1.50 each. Although the trip lasted only 15 minutes the views back to Fort William and Ben Nevis are spectacular as are the view along Loch Linnhe.
