Robert is a fantastic driver and guide! He was so easy to work with and responsive before our tour. Once our tour started everything was perfect. Robert is a great driver with a nice and clean car. He is very friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. We loved traveling to whiskey distilleries with him, he is very passionate about Whiskey and even would pack small tasters for us as a surprise in the car for fun blind taste tastings. We loved not having to worry about any details (but he is very flexible if there’s specific places you wish to see or visit). Our routes included absolutely lovely distilleries, breathtaking country drives, fantastic food recommendations, and some great non-whiskey stops along the way as well. He created the most well balanced days for our tours and we would absolutely recommend Robert to ANYONE wishing to do a private tour in the highlands. Can’t say enough great things about our two days with Robert. Great photographer too! Extra bonus, his price was very fair and lower than many other private tour drivers. Thanks for everything Robert!! Andrea and Matt

We spent a day with Robert on a custom tour of both sites and distilleries. Robert was informative, flexible and pleasant. He even adjusted the tour over the course of the day to address some of our architectural interests that were revealed during conversations. We toured a small distillery, a large one, a medium one and an interesting and expansive whisky store. We visited several historical sites in addition. He was prompt and his vehicle was comfortable with great air conditioning (it was a rare hot day in Scotland). Highly recommend as we accomplished more in one day with Robert than we ever could have on our own! We will certainly rebook if back in Inverness.

We've been to Inverness many times and we always use Ness-Tours. You can customize the tour as you like, Robert is very accommodating and is always on time picking us up from a cruise ship, airport, or the train station. We would not hesitate to recommend Ness-Tours for your tour around the Inverness area or wherever you want to tour. You won't be disappointed.

Visiting Inverness and only had a couple of free hours to tour. Robert picked us up for a 2 hour tour of Inverness. We were at the Eden Center and his arrival was prompt. We were looking to visit the Clava Cairns and Robert recommended some wonderful locations. In addition to Cairns, he drove us to Fort George, Stuart Castle, and an old estate that is now a hotel. It was a perfect excursion. Robert was a great tour guide, informative and friendly and with great suggestions. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely amazing day today with Robert. We are from the US with two young kids, aged 10 and 11, (so we can be a handful at times) and Robert could not have been a better guide. He was social not only with us, but he also included our kids in fun trivia and road games. They enjoyed him just as much as us. He let us pick the itinerary, but he provided suggestions and unique stops away from the crowds (as much as you can avoid them). Every stop was amazing and he kept us informed the whole time with historical facts. If you are looking for an amazingly friendly guide, and an equally great person, Robert is your man. We hope to see him again! Thanks from the 4A's Robert!
