We went on a thundery day, unfortunately when there is a lightning strike in the area the leisure pool is closed for a minimum of 30 minutes and in our case 70 minutes. There is a competition pool which was opened up for us to use whilst we waited but it is a lot cooler - at least they have... More

Good to hear you generally enjoyed your visit Gillso! Thankfully lightening is a rare occurrence and we are sorry that the precautionary closure impacted on your visit. 65 minutes is the minimum session time offered so we are not sure why the band call you noticed appeared to be less - it may have been for a large group which... Visited twice whilst on holiday in Inverness area. Great facility and friendly staff. Time limit of 1hr 10m during peak times seems a little tight but kids thoroughly enjoyed the flume rides, Highly recommend.

Really great pool for all the family. 2 hours in the pool, followed by a superb lunch in the café. Good value food in nice clean surroundings. We use it to break the journey up if were travelling with the kids.

I would highly recommend this place if the Scottish weather lets you down. This is amongst the best leisure pools I have been to- lazy river, outdoor pool, flumes and wave machine so lots of fun for the kids (and grown ups). Facilities were exceptionally clean and the passcode operated lockers work very well and are large enough to accommodate... More

Aquadome is over rated, changing area is tiny not ideal for families at all, one member of staff was pleasant the rest looked like they didn't want to be there....expensive for all it has....the waves are good, the outdoor slide rarely open, the other slide was v v slow and the lazy river was boring didn't drag you round like... This is probably the best public leisure pool I have ever been to. The Nessie Monster ride is truly terrifying – a near vertical drop of about 20m. Heed the instructions to cross your legs and arms as if you don’t they end up being flayed all over the place when you hit the bottom at what seems like break-neck... More

Used the Leisure centre a couple of times during a recent stay in the area. Two swimming pools: one for lane swimmers and the other a fun pool (with a WAVE MACHINE!!) We also tried the wall climbing (Boulder wall only) and had the options for classes, gym and badminton (we were on holiday though - didn't want to over... More

Took my 11yr old and 13yr old here for a swim in the easter holidays whilst visiting Inverness. Thought it expensive for a council ran facility however boys did enjoy it. I spectated and didnt realise there was a cafe i would have loved a cuppy. Appeared to be plenty of staff with a few of them gathered around the... More

A visit during a wet day during Easter Holidays. As I was expecting it was busy, but once we got through and paid (worth the Price) we went Down to the Changing village and it was all clean and fresh. Plenty changing rooms and easy to Use Coin-less Lockers. Clean area's all round the pool area with Lifeguards that have... More
