If in Inverness a walk through the park consisting of a series of wooded islands linked by footbridges in the middle of the river is a must.

When you see the prices, you may think this is a trifle expensive, but the trip includes coach, boat down the loch (which is amazing) and access to the castle. Well worth the money!

Well signed, decent paths, quaint bridges...an excellent way to spend a couple of hours in winter. Popular with dogwalkers, joggers. Very well kept with no litter...Always a plus.

The river runs through the centre of the city with nice walks along the riverbank and the islands which are connected by a series of foot bridges

Absolutely stunning. I have only seen views to rival here when we were at the summit of Mount Etna! Fresh air and a fab local pub (Dores Inn) made it really memorable :) Would highly recommend

Very beautiful part of the world, thoroughly stunning. Took a few walks along the river, very fast flowing, but the paths are very accessible and have lots of mid route things to see

It’s by far the best way to get to see a city and learn a bit about the history. Its comfortable and the hop on/off flexibility allows you to visit the many parts with ease. – Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

If you mean walking around ness islands, then it's as long as you like, you could speedwalk through them in ten mins, or stroll through in a couple of hours. We started on the south side of the river in town, walked along... More
