We we're only visiting Inverness for a few days and as the weather had been so unpredictable (we managed to visit during storm Barbara!!) we had accepted we may not get to see Skye 😓☹️. We'd visited the tourism office in the town centre to ask if any tours were running over Christmas and were told due to the weather... More

My husband and I enjoyed a tour of the Highlands with John from Happy Tours. So well versed in Scottish tales and history I advise anyone taking a tour with John to be prepared to jot notes. My one desire was to see the Eileen Donan castle, and although this wasn't specifically part of the tour John allowed extra time... More

With only a few short days in Inverness, we wanted to visit at least 1 or 2 whiskey distilleries but they all seemed to be far away and difficult to find (with my limited driving experience in Scotland). The hotel desk came to our rescue by suggesting we hire "The man in the kilt", Cameron of Happy Tours. We met... More

I booked a private tour for just my husband and I with Happy Tours. We spent day with John "Chon" McGillivray Coleman and would ask for him again by name. We had an awesome day! We visited the Mealt Falls at Kilt Rock, Old Man of Storr, Quirang (which was not on the "top" my list but should have been!),... More

Isle of Skye tour, long day but well worth it. Our guide Jon was really nice with a wealth of knowledge on history, geography, etc. Had a great time! Saw a lot of sights! Stops were short and few and far between but necessary to see entire agenda but still very accommodating to our needs. Saw Loch Ness, castles, battlefields,... More

No tours compare with Cameron's Happy Tours. Hands down the best drivers with a depth of knowledge that transcends centuries of Scottish history. John, Roger and Andrea were spectacular in the way they taught us about Scottish Highlands history. From the Culloden Battlefield to the Isle of Skye and the Kilt Rocks and on to the Glen Morangie and Glen... More
