Because it's a city that runs on music!

This was such an excellent way to spend a couple of hours.
We did the folkie tour during Celtic Connections and the interesting anecdotes did not stop coming!
Glasgow IS the Music City (more so, I feel, than anywhere else in the UK, including Liverpool), and if you leave without lifting the lid on a scene that can seem quite impenetrable to outsiders, you've done yourself an injustice, as it's never JUST about music.

Cannot fault the tour. Fiona was informative and engaging throughout. I really think they should produce a book! UNESCO city of music, who knew!!

Amazing music tour

This is such a fun and interesting way to get to know your own city . Our tour guide was Fiona and she had so many interesting stories and facts the time just flew by . Lots of fun can’t recommend it enough .

A fabulous experience

Fiona was a terrific guide, knowledgeable about all genres of music and really interacted with the group. A number of our party had their own memories and stories which added to the experience. Highly recommended!

ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

We had a great day with Fiona on our Merchant City Music Walk on Sat 10th Sept. The weather was lovely- warm & sunny - which only added to our enjoyment. Fiona was a great guide with loads of info & stories. We will definitely be doing the Music Mile next year!

A great day out in the rain

We had a great day out despite the weather. Our guide for the walk had a fantastic depth of knowledge on all genres of music and painted pictures in our minds that brought back memories of "when I wore a younger mans clothes". Highly recommend and I will be booking up for the other half of the city tour.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Excellent tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. Some great stories and an all round first class experience. Well worth the money, and I will definitely do the music mile tour.

Get yourself on this tour!
Entertaining and informative music tour. Phil had great stories to tell and is clearly an expert in this area. His passion for music and the arts shone through. A small suggestion.. perhaps widen focus from his 90s passion as audience was 30s - late 60s. Having said that I'll defo be signing up for the morning tour which takes in the east end ofc the city.. loved it and highly recommend
