We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. We were shown to seats introduced to regulars, live band was excellent, had a dance dabbled in a bit of line dancing & the drink was so cheap, would recommend for a great night out with a difference.

What a fantastic night out! We walked in as English strangers and walked out as friends. The enthusiasm and commitment of the audience was very evident. There were lots of people in western dress but plenty who weren't as well, so it doesn't matter how you're dressed. The drinks were unbelievably cheap - £1.20 for a measure of spirits on... More

Spend the night for new years there and had a great time! Probably the greatest selection of Scottish spirits you will find anywhere in the city! Lot of cool people there who took care of a great night out for us! Thanks a lot!

If you are truly looking for a unique night out then head to the Oprey. It's like the land that time forgot - part Americana saloon part Glesca social club, the regulars take it very seriously. I was convinced I'd love it, as I love traditions that have been kept up & who doesn't love cheap drinks in a multi... More

What a great night out we had at the Grand Ole Opry in Glasgow. Well worth a visit. Really friendly welcome from staff and the regular club goers. Live band, bingo, dancing, great atmosphere

We had a great time dancing to the country and western band, playing bingo and watching the Wild West shootout. People were really friendly and there are obviously lots of regulars. 2 gins and 2 beers cost us £9 - fantastic for Glasgow. Would highly recommend as something different. It seems a great place to go in a crowd.

Great music, fun dancing, brilliant atmosphere! Like something out of the 1970's but in a good way ;-)

Been here a few times, and as always a great fun night, where the staff always make you welcome, good bar prices, £5 pay at the door, unless there is a special function. Mixed crowd of all ages, over 18 only as far as I am aware. Gun fights, and all type's of dancing, there is a space on the floor for everyone. And I've seen some... More

This is a friendly, welcoming place to go to listen to Country and Western music at the weekend..live bands and a dj, you can join in the line dancing or do your own dance version, eat at the Chuck Wagon, play bingo, try a raffle, or....if your voice is up to it.......volunteer to sing a song with the band! There's... More
