We have just had an amazing meal at this restaurant and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were extremely nice, and extremely sensitive to my wife's particularly special needs. Steaks were beautifully cooked and the portions were very generous. What we didn't finish, was kindly packed in takeaway containers. This really was the perfect place to end our afternoon out with friends. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Well done to all involved, especially Sam. Kind regards and profuse apologies.

Really fantastic service - very friendly and warm in a cozy, wee basement restaurant. The food was very good - loved the haggis trio starter and my wife's peppercorn sauce with her steak was fantastic.

I booked on Tuesday for the Wednesday evening. After being seated, and offered drinks, we chose to skip the starter, and just go for the daddy of the steaks, the 1200g Tomahawk. We asked for it to be cooked at the chefs preference. We had scallops and chips on the side with 2 sauces. The streak was amazing!! It’s one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some bloody good steaks in my time. The scallops and chips were also fabulous. We shared the Raspberry Cranachan Soufflé, which was so light and fluffy and tasted amazing! We met the chef - one of the owners - Brett - who introduced me to his kitchen team. The service was outstanding, the food was outstanding. Thank you for a great meal. 10/10.

Myself and a friend came in here the other day and I can not praise it highly enough. The food was fabulous - I had the steak and it melted in the mouth and the sides were brilliant! The service was outstanding - The team were so attentive but not intrusive and really made us feel at home. I can’t wait to come back again. Well Done
