We were attending The Wolfetones here in November. We queued for 40 minutes and were near the top when we realised we mislaid our tickets. We told a member of staff and We ran back to the pub where we were and luckily found them....More

The venue is great, really enjoyed the Nothing But Thieves concert there. Only issue I had was the staff - they don’t really care much for you. I was a solo female here, I’d travelled down from Aberdeen and I’d left before the final encore...More

As the Glasgow Apollo is no longer with us this is the next best thing for an old school rock gig. bands rave about it for it's atmosphere. It's a short walk form the city centre and not in the city's most salubrious areas but...More

Went to see heavy metal legends Saxon with a couple of friends recently. Sure the place is old fashioned but the place just has a great nostalgic feel. The stairs could be s bit of a problem and also no seating but we always stand...More

I’ve been to the Barras loads of times and still the best place to see a live gig. Atmosphere is always jumping and drinks prices are reasonble. Ive no doubt I’ll be back.

It’s a special celebration when one of your favourite bands books a gig at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. Scatter my ashes here when I die - let them mix with the spilled beer and crushed plastic glasses and sweep me up at the end...More
