Saturday night in Glasgow for an evening with the Really Terrible Orchestra and Sally Magnusson. I recognised the tunes and shared the emotion and tears culminating in a brown paper bag Cannon calvacade 1812 style. Loved every moment from entrance downstairs up to Stevenson’s room and free bar( made it for me). The ambassadors handing out programmes free gave encouraging advice and directions without prompting to a first time visitor and made me feel at home immediately. Convenient hassle free parking 100 yards away in Cambridge road multi-storey after dropping off badge holders 10 yards from front access in Renfrew Street G2 3DB. Glasgow’s Best!

Sadly, lots of people have no idea about the wonderful concerts that are performed here. Not only is the standard amazing, but the ticket prices are too! It’s a lovely space as well, with a student-priced cafe.

This week's Friday lunchtime concert was the recital by Scottish Opera's Emerging Artists. What a joy! Excellent hall with superb acoustics, comfortable seats and delightful singing. What a great way to spend an hour in the city!

Inside the theatre is nice but at the cost of not being able to eat and you can only drink water!the staff were acting like spy's looking down on people going into their bags pocket munching! It's really of putting when you are trying to enjoy the performance!! Even worse at the cafe they didn't even tell us we couldn't take our drinks in so we basically spent money on drinks to get binned

Tommy Smith and the Scottish National Jazz Orchestral featuring Arild Andersen, on bass, from Oslo, Norway playing Charlie Mingus.................fantastic! I've been here to listen to the SNJO lots of times but this was the best yet. Check this place out guys, next concert, ''Charlie Parker's Music''. Be there or be square!

Each year I go to the opera that is put on at the Conservatoire in January to showcase the talent studying there . It never disappoints. The Athenaeum theatre is excellent and the student staff are always delightful

I've been to see lots of music and dance stuff here.

The helpful, willing staff are great and the auditorium and theatre are comfortable and modern.

Can't speak for the quality of the courses but the infrastructure is top notch. Nice cafe and clean toilets. Win.

How lucky we are to have opportunities like the one afforded by Sir Thomas Allen's performance of Winterreise to hear world class performances. The Friday at one concerts are a great addition to Glasgow's cultural programme and together with the operas, drama and dance provide a veritable feast at incredibly low prices for Glasgow's performing arts lovers. In addition to artists of outstanding calibre the students perform with an enthusiasm, talent and commitment that gives us much hope for the future.
The Conservatoire itself is such a welcoming venue, always buzzing with life and providing excellent food for its patrons. Glasgow should be very proud of this institution.

The Stevenson Hall at the RCS is a great venue and we were there to listen to the NyOS Junior Orchestra. The performance was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed the concert, but the cafe left a lot to be desired. (The box office staff were very helpful.)
The tables needed wiped as there were crumbs on some of them, there was no hot food in the evening (but the sign promising chilli was still out) though the waitress, once she was able to drag herself away from the young gentleman she was chatting to, did offer to toast a sandwich for me.
